The mood of action: Licorice extract is obtained from the root of Glycyrrhiza Glabra Linnera. It is cultivated extensively in India. Licorice extract improves hyperpigmentation by dispersing the melanin, inhibiting melanin biosynthesis, and inhibiting cyclooxygenase activity thereby decreasing free radical production. Glabridin, a polyphenolic flavonoid is the main component of licorice extract. Studies have shown that glabridin prevents Ultraviolet B (UVB) induced pigmentation and exerts anti-inflammatory effects by inhibiting superoxide anion and cyclooxygenase activity.

Wild Turmeric: Turmeric is rich in antioxidants. When it comes to skincare, antioxidants can help keep free radicals from destroying healthy cells. This may prevent the onset of hyperpigmentation, scars, and other long-term skin concerns.

How to use: Mix 2-3 teaspoon powder with honey or sour yogurt or adequate cold water to make a paste. Apply an even layer to clean, dry skin. Leave on for 15-20 minutes or until completely dry, then rinse off thoroughly with lukewarm water. Recommended 2-3 times a week for maximum benefits.

A patch test is recommended before use to avoid an allergic reaction. Suitable for all skin types.
